Group Sales Executive

Do you have experience dealing with large group bookings or events planning? Do you thrive working in a fast paced and vibrant atmosphere? If this sounds like you then Parkdean Resorts have an opportunity for a Group Sales Executive to join the team in Gosforth on a full time basis.

As Group Sales Executive you will take a lead role in creating new sales opportunities, driving growth and building the groups and partnership business within Parkdean Resorts. You will deliver a best in class customer experience from initial enquiry to arrival at the holiday park, supporting a clear communication of all aspects of the group’s event and activities.

A little bit about you...

• You will have experience working with a blend of communication channels including emails, social media, and telephone, and continually be achieving to convert customer enquiries into holiday bookings through these channels.
• You will be experienced in working towards targets and be confident and passionate about driving these forward through adding new sales and generating repeat bookings. Your sales background will allow you to confidently lead sales meetings with the team to help further increase revenue.
• You will proactively support lead generation of new opportunities, events and activities through both business to business and business to customer channels. This will include reaching out to clubs, groups and larger clients to fully support any requirements they have.
• You will network and build valuable relationships with our clients, also attending group events around the UK to increase group’s activity. Some flexibility regarding travel will be required in order to do this.
• Your will be creative with your promotions, building an attractive package focused on added value for the customer and increasing revenue.
• You will work towards increasing enquiry activity, conversion and booking through targeting of our key parks, periods and region.
• This role will require attention to detail and organisation to enable you to cover each stage of administration in the Groups booking process.
• Your will be analytically driven with the ability to identify trends and opportunities and make improvements based on the findings.
• You will be confident in your reporting ability in order to feedback key pieces of information to stakeholders. This will include the management and reporting of the debt and cancellation process for Groups.
• You will support the delivery of the outbound sales strategy to generate new business opportunities and achieve best possible retention rates of existing client base.
• The customer journey continues even after our customers have finished their holiday, you will provide post-holiday care and follow up calls to our customers to help increase retention.

When you join Parkdean Resorts you will receive in house training covering our business, systems and of course our beautiful parks, this training alongside your existing skills will fully equip you to fulfil the role successfully. Our customer Contact Centre is open 7 days a week and this role will involve working some weekends.
