We’re gearing up for something big. Arcade is opening a brand-new venue in the heart of Covent Garden — and we’re looking for an exceptional Head Host to be part of our opening team.

Arcade is one of UK’s most ambitious and exciting hospitality projects! A dynamic playground where world-class chefs, bold culinary ideas, and vibrant guest experiences come together under one roof. As a brand incubator, we launch, operate, and scale original concepts that celebrate global cuisines and exceptional drink culture. 

About The Role:

We're excited to be looking for an experienced Head Host to join our front-line team at one of London’s newest and most exciting venues – Arcade Covent Garden! With a buzzing atmosphere, globally inspired kitchens, and electrifying service, this is your chance to be part of one of London's most exciting dining destinations.

The successful candidate will love delivering top-notch guest experiences and ensuring our guests feel welcomed and excited to explore everything we have to offer. As a Head Host at Arcade, you will:

• Drive revenue and capacity by expertly managing bookings, walk-ins, and live table allocations, using floor awareness and booking systems to maximise covers while maintaining a seamless guest experience.
• Anticipate service flow in real time and support daily sales performance through accurate cover analysis and proactive upselling opportunities.
• Be the first and lasting impression for every guest who walks through our doors. You'll handle high-profile guests and set the standard for warm welcomes, smooth seating arrangements, and personalized guest care
• Lead and inspire a team of hosts, ensuring they deliver impeccable service while fostering a supportive and motivated environment
• Assist with the coaching and development of junior staff members
• Work closely with the management team to streamline reservation systems, manage the flow of service, and handle guest inquiries with efficiency and flair
• Handle on-the-spot challenges with grace and professionalism, keeping both the team and guests happy
• Be in your element delivering top-tier hospitality with a positive vibe and great smile

We'd love to hear from you if you:

• Bring 3+ years of experience as a Head Host or similar front of house role
• Bring strong knowledge of booking systems (SevenRooms, OpenTable and Triple Seat)
• Bring experience coaching and developing junior staff
• Have worked in a high-volume restaurant environment similar to ours
• Have a passion for food, service and guest experiences
• Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Are an excellent team player with a positive attitude
• Are calm, confident and can multitask under pressure
• Bring a warm and approachable demeanour that naturally connects with guests and colleagues
