Our Support Office a modern office located close to Old Street and Barbican in central London. This friendly open plan office houses several of the key support functions including Sales, Human Resources, Marketing and Central Revenue. Conveniently located with great transport links the office is the London base for the back office functions of Guoman and Thistle.

The Role

This is a key support role within glh ensuring that glh drive best practise, compliance and continuous improvement in the use of business systems across the process areas of finance, procurement and sales and billing.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide level 1 and level 2 support to end users and act as a point of integration with 3rd party providers for level 3 support to approximately 350 users
  • Maintenance of master data and data integration of SAP, BW and other business systems
  • Supporting the Systems manager in training users on upgrades, changes and new developments on the business systems in addition to new user training
  • Ensure all changes are tested in accordance with glh’s testing methodology
  • Preparation, control and maintenance of the business systems process documentation
  • Act as the conduit between the business stakeholders and 3rd parties in the management of continuous improvement and small change
  • Responsible for user access and role administration
  • Promote the use of glh’s business systems in order to drive value and best practise

What we look for

Core Skills and Competencies required:

  • 5+ years SAP experience in a support capacity encompassing MM and SD
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong process documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience of third party PTP systems
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Finance background with sound understanding of financial reporting
