Social Media Executive

Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Executive. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media trends, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail. As a Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance our brand presence and engage with our target audience across various platforms

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, and written) across social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Ticktock, Instagram
  • Monitor social media channels for trending news, ideas, and feedback relevant to our industry and brand.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and inquiries in a timely manner, and foster a positive community around our brand.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns that align with overall marketing objectives.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and prepare regular reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media best practices, trends, and technologies, and recommend new strategies and tools to improve our social media presence.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, influencers, and partners for social media collaborations and sponsored content opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual aesthetic across all social media channels

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role, preferably in a Five Star Luxury hotel.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Ticktock as well as emerging platforms and trends.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and compelling content tailored to different platforms and audiences.
  • Experience with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and paid advertising campaigns.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and driving innovation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when scheduling posts and monitoring metrics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
