Are you ready to tackle complex technical challenges, support cutting-edge systems, and deliver exceptional service that makes a real impact? We’re seeking a skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team and provide expert technical support across the central region of Portugal. In this role, you’ll manage software and hardware systems, configure networks, install new equipment, and support virtual environments including ESXi and Hyper-V. You’ll play a key role in maintaining server performance, resolving firewall and SQL-related issues, and ensuring seamless client-server operations. As a trusted partner to our customers, you'll deliver hands-on training, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide ongoing support—building strong, lasting relationships through excellent customer service. With frequent travel to on-site locations, you’ll collaborate closely with both clients and internal teams, sharing insights and solutions to keep our technology running at its best.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Software Management – Take the lead in resolving complex issues related to servers, computers, networks, and firewalls. Be hands-on with SQL configuration, virtual machine servers, ESXi, Hyper-V, and seamless new computer installations—keeping systems running at peak performance.
  • Network Skills – Apply your in-depth knowledge of network configuration to build and maintain efficient, secure client-server environments, including VPN setups that ensure smooth and protected connectivity.
  • Hardware – Own hardware reliability by performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of equipment and instruments—ensuring minimal downtime and maximum performance.
  • Flexibility and Willingness to Travel – Enjoy a dynamic role that takes you on the road across the country, visiting customer sites to deliver expert support, installations, and face-to-face service that makes a real impact.
  • Customer Training – Lead engaging, effective training sessions that help customers confidently navigate and get the most out of our software solutions—boosting satisfaction and self-sufficiency.
  • Customer Service & Relationship – Be the trusted advisor your clients rely on—providing fast, effective solutions and building strong, lasting relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and quality support.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree (IT, Software engineering, Hardware)

Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems: Server and Windows 10 /11.
  • Some experience SQL language and C sharp and experience working with database
  • Good level of English both oral and written communication is required.
  • Fluent in Portuguese
