At PeopleBank we are committed to protecting your privacy
PeopleBank endeavours to ensure that the information that you submit to us remains private, and that it is used only for the purposes described below. We aim to provide a safe and secure experience for all of our users.

What this Privacy Policy covers
This Privacy Policy covers PeopleBank's treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect when you are on the PeopleBank website, and when you use PeopleBank's services. This policy also covers PeopleBank's treatment of any personally identifiable information that PeopleBank's partners and clients share with PeopleBank. This policy does not apply to companies that PeopleBank does not own or control, or to people that PeopleBank does not employ.

Information collection and use
PeopleBank collects personally identifiable information when you register with PeopleBank, when you use certain PeopleBank products or services, when you visit PeopleBank web pages, and when you enter competitions. PeopleBank may also receive personally identifiable information from our partners and clients.

PeopleBank also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your Internet Protocol address. Every computer on the internet has an IP address which is a unique number by which it can be identified. PeopleBank records IP addresses for anonymous statistical purposes, administration of our website and servers, and to improve our services.

PeopleBank may set and access cookies on your computer. A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your browser from a website's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive. Each website can send its own cookies to your browser if your browser's preferences allow it, but, to protect your privacy, your browser will only permit a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites. You can choose whether or not to accept cookies, but if you do not accept cookies, some of PeopleBank's services may not be available to you.

General information
PeopleBank gathers general information about users, for example, what services users access the most and which areas of the PeopleBank website are most frequently visited. Such data is used in the aggregate to help us to understand how the PeopleBank website is used, so that we can continue to improve and develop our services for the benefit of our users. We may make this aggregated information available to users of the PeopleBank website and to our partners and clients, so that they too may understand how PeopleBank users, collectively, use the PeopleBank website. Such statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.

Your personal information
When you register with PeopleBank, enter a competition, or buy a product or service, we ask for personal information such as your name, date of birth, contact details, and other details. Once you register with PeopleBank and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us. We may use information that you provide to alert you to other products and services which may be of interest to you, or to contact you regarding site changes.

Disclosure of personal information
We do not disclose information about your individual visits to the PeopleBank website, or personal information that you provide, such as your name and personal contact details unless you have given us your permission or we believe that the law requires it. But we may record and share aggregated information with our partners and clients. Additionally, if you input your information on a co-branded registration page, such as a PeopleBank and partner or client-company registration page, or a PeopleBank and partner or client-company-sponsored competition, then the information you give becomes the property of both PeopleBank and the partner or client. PeopleBank is not responsible for the information that the partner or client receives.

PeopleBank may send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:

Your CV
PeopleBank is a recruitment website, and we give you the option of putting your CV in our database. You may create an online CV using the CV registration form provided. Your online CV is searchable by a number of criteria, such as how recently your CV was uploaded/amended, your desired occupations, experience, salary expectations, education and key skills. All recruiters with access to our CV database will be able to view your CV, but they will not be able to view your personal contact details without your permission.

If you have an existing CV in an alternative format you can upload it to our server. If you submit your online CV with an alternative CV attached to it when applying for a job it may be accessed by the prospective employer.

You may remove your CV from our database at any time. However, recruiters who have accessed your personal contact details with your permission may have retained a copy of your CV in their own files or databases. In these instances we are not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy of your CV.

You may apply directly to jobs advertised on the PeopleBank website. In these instances, PeopleBank is not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy of your CV.

Security
For your privacy and security, your PeopleBank Career Account information is password-protected.

PeopleBank invites you to submit feedback. Any feedback that is submitted becomes the property of PeopleBank. We may publish this feedback, use it for marketing purposes, or to contact you for further feedback.

PeopleBank may amend this policy from time to time.
