Can you describe your career journey since joining?

I joined Steatite as a computer assembler, I quickly progressed to Team Leader for key customers, then team leader. I held this position for several years, before I moved across to the newly formed Internal Technical Support (ITS) team which I eventually headed up. From there I moved across to the Qualification and Verification (QV) department as an EMC technician initially later developing into a QV Technician role and then my current role as QV Engineer.

What do you enjoy most about working here?

Throughout my time at Steatite, I have enjoyed working with different technologies and systems. Since moving into the QV team, I have enjoyed learning new skills and researching the EMC phenomena. However I would say that it really is the people who make working here the most enjoyable.

What has been a memorable project or proudest moment so far?

I have worked on several memorable projects throughout my time with the company. Id say the proudest moment is probably successfully seeing a large military project through formal testing, representing the company at the test house alongside the customer.

What advice would you give to someone thinking about joining Steatite?

Theres no such thing as a stupid question, if you are unsure of something always ask, everyone is very helpful.
