What inspired you to join Steatite?

I was instantly drawn to the role and the company. The position of Technical Sales Support Advisor really caught my attention, so I took some time to look deeper into the company to understand what the day-to-day work might involve and whether it aligned with the kind of career path I’m looking for. The more I read, the more interested I became, and it felt like a natural next step in my job journey.

Can you describe your career journey since joining?

I joined just under six months ago, and I’m learning more every day. The information, support, and training provided have helped me grow both personally and professionally, and I can really see the progress, as I continue to develop in the role.

What do you enjoy most about working here?

I really enjoy working at Steatite it’s the first time I’ve genuinely looked forward to coming into work. Everyone here is supportive, friendly, and just genuinely good people. If you ever need help, someone will always go out of their way for you. There’s also plenty of support available if you need additional training, which makes it a great environment to learn and grow.

What has been a memorable project or proudest moment so far?

One of the highlights for me was being invited to Swindon for an event, where I had the chance to meet some of our customers face-to-face. I also got to see how some of the equipment we sell actually works, which really helped me understand our products on a deeper level.

What advice would you give to someone thinking about joining Steatite?

Don’t think twice about joining, it really is a fantastic place to work. As I mentioned, people here genuinely support you and are always there to help, whether you have a quick question or just want a friendly chat. The environment is welcoming, encouraging, and full of people who want to see you succeed.
