Careers at Bow Street Tavern

One of London’s most iconic and historic pubs! Established in 1763, the Bow Street Tavern has witnessed many historical events - most notably the formation of the Bow Street Runners who are considered the first British police force. The pub was almost certainly frequented by them and has a cell in the basement that used to house prisoners!

The pub, rebuilt in 1930 and refurbished by City Pub Group in 2018, offers locals, theatre goers and tourists alike the perfect spot to sup on a local pint, savour a ‘mothers ruin’ gin lane tipple, gorge on some ‘proper’ British homemade grub, and while away the afternoons putting the world to rights or doing a crossword - with the occasional word of wisdom coming from the bartender!

Here at Bow Street, we have a passion for people and making their day, so if you are looking for a new role where your personality really gets to shine then we want to hear from you!

Due to the unprecedented global pandemic surrounding Covid-19, we have needed to take the unfortunate decision to pause all recruitment until further notice. We are absolutely determined to bounce back stronger and better than ever, so please register you’re interest here to be the first to learn about our roles when we begin recruiting once more.
