POSITION PROFILE OR JOB PURPOSE:

To ensure all Spa treatments and consolations are maintained with a high standard of professionalism and customer service

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To carry out consultation with guests, as required, giving advice and promoting treatments.
• Carry out treatments to the required Spa standards, following treatment protocols, ensuring specific treatment time is adhered to.
• Achieve retail sales targets through personal prescriptions and consultations.
• Comply with standards of appearance and uniform at all time while on duty.
• Ensure all bills and receipts are correctly recorded following a treatment and handed to the receptionist for billing to the client.
• Ensure that stock is secured in the therapy room stock cupboard each day and cupboards are replenished as required for the next therapist.
• To ensure all equipment within the Spa is fully operational and report any defects to the Senior Therapist or Spa Manager.
• Inform the Senior Therapist or Spa Manager of any medical conditions or unusual reactions of guests to treatments that causes concern e.g. skin conditions, bruising.
• Ensure Spa treatment rooms are kept tidy throughout the day.
• To ensure all equipment, lights, candles, air conditioning are turned off and to secure rooms and return treatment room key to Spa reception at the end of shift.
• To undertake relevant duties as requested by the Senior Therapist or Spa Manager.
• Promote the Spa at tall times
• Deliver exceptional customer service and customer care at all times.
• Ensure you are familiar with the Spa tariff and any promotions in order to advise and promote gift vouchers and Spa courses.
• Attend all training as required by the company.
• To be fully aware of and strictly observe Health and Safety, Bomb Threat, Security and Fire procedures.
• To be fully aware of and comply with hotel and company rules and regulations as identified in the team member handbook.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION:

• Previous beauty therapy experience
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience
• NVQ Level 3 beauty therapist
• Good understanding of written and spoken English language
