This is a hotel-based role, reporting directly into the Hotel General Manager. The overall purpose of the post-holder is to:

  • Increase revenue management activity on property both strategically and tactically, to drive RGI growth.
  • Increase demand generation activity to support business needs.
  • Support the daily revenue management activities of the onsite Assistant Revenue Manager

As Revenue Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of all aspects of revenue management for your hotel, including, but not limited to, maximising daily Net Total RevPAR and RGI using yield management techniques, systems and processes, the production of weekly and monthly rolling 365 day forecasts, the production of the hotel annual budgets in relation to rooms and other revenue streams.

This is a hands-on role also responsible for implementing and driving the required system re-configurations, price quality re-positioning, changing channel partner relationships to drive premium demand into the hotel, business partnering with hotel General Manager and working closely with Central Sales, Marketing and Digital to drive net total revenue across all business segments. 

You will also have line management responsibility for an onsite Assistant Revenue Manager.


What we look for

  • At least 4 years experience in Hotel Revenue Management in full service 4 and 5 star properties
  • Thorough knowledge of Opera PMS, Opera Reservation Services and Sales & Catering
  • Previous experience using an automated revenue strategy platform - i.e. Duetto
  • Sound knowledge of how rates are distributed to and display on all four Global Distribution Systems together with experience using the hotel preferencing and marketing products available
  • Previous experience in using a channel management system - EZ Yield, Rate Tiger, Siteminder
  • Thorough understanding of hotel distribution systems - Pegasus/GDS/Internet
  • Highly numerate (Maths grade C or higher at GCSE or equivalent)
