Please be aware of our remote Oxfordshire countryside location with limited transport services to Thame and Oxford City Centre, you would therefore require your own transport to get to the hotel. Staff accommodation may be available but is limited and only available for certain positions.
What you'll be doing
As Assistant Reception Manager you'll support the Reception Manager in running the team to handle check in and check out to give a great first and last impression making sure that our guests have everything they need to be comfortable and enjoy their stay. Our Reception team thrives on pressure and are nothing if not flexible, welcoming and, quite frankly, amazing at all times!
We also know that each and every one of our guests wants to be made to feel special, so no lengthy standards checklists for us! You'll just use your instinct to build a great rapport and deliver our distinctively memorable one of a kind service.
What you'll need
To have a great personality and be genuine, approachable, attentive and instinctive.
To enjoy the buzz of being busy.
To be smart and well presented.
Previous experience in a hotel reception role at supervisory level.
Good standard of numeracy, literacy.
Sound operational knowledge and experience of IT Front Office System.
Excellent level of spoken and written English.
To be able to recognize and develop future stars.
To be able to work shifts that generally will be between 7am and 11pm, which will include weekends and bank holidays.
