Food & Beverage Assistant Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Food & Beverage Assistant Manager who is passionate and outgoing into our established Retail team based at Grannies Heilan Hame holiday park.

You will be responsible for a team of up to 20 staff and the efficient operation, control and development of all F&B units to a high standard, providing relevant training and supervision of staff as and when required in the absence of the manager.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assist the Complex Manager with their daily duties, ensuring the complex runs smoothly at all times
• Deliver outstanding customer service and standards at all times as required by the business and to ensure the team deliver financial and service level targets.
• Lead the team to ensure all duties are completed in the Complex to the required standard, both in daily and deep cleans.
• Ensure the teams comply with all company policies and procedures, for example, Health & Safety and COSHH.
• Ensure that all rooms, venues and facilities are cleaned to the required specification and standards.
• Use those chemicals and cleaning materials as instructed in line with COSHH guidelines.
• Store all cleaning materials and equipment issued.
• To take deliveries and store food items as directed by the Head Chef.
• To assist the Head Chef in providing the highest standard of cooking and service in all catering areas as required

The successful person will have:

• Experience of commercial awareness and business acumen
• Experience of working in a customer service role
• Team Leadership experience

• Experience of leading and developing teams
• Communicating and influencing skills
• Teamwork and co-operation skills
• Previous experience in a fast paced kitchen (but not essential)
