Venue Manager

Do you have previous experience of managing a multi-purpose retail venue? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Venue Manager to join the team at Trecco Bay Holiday Park based in Porthcawl.

Reporting to the Complex Manager you will work as part of the retail management team across the department to ensure the efficient operation, control and development of the venues and venue teams, ensuring a high standard of service is offered to customers at all times.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Being accountable for hygiene standards in the all areas and ensure that these remain at required levels at all times.
  • Dealing with customer queries and complaints in the appropriate manner to ensure the customer gains the very best experience.
  • Ensuring high levels of presentation are maintained both front and back of house at all times.
  • Ensuring the food presentation and potion control in the venues is of an acceptable standard.
  • Placing orders as necessary to ensure stock is available and that stock levels are correct and gross profit margins are achieved.
  • Protecting margins by ensuring deliveries are checked in and correct transfers are completed.

The successful Person will:

  • Have proven experience in commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Ideally have experience of managing a multi-purpose venue.
  • Hold food hygiene level 2 and level 3 certification
  • Be proven in leading, developing and motivating a team.
  • Have exceptional communication skills.
