We are on the lookout for a Meeting & Events Sales Executive to work at our lovely Hotel and Golf Club located in Cambridge


As Meetings & Events Sales Executive, you will be actively involved with the Meetings & Events Sales Team to actively convert customer enquiries into confirmed sales and deliver extemporary customer service to ensure a seamless handover with operations to the event on the day.

Key duties for the role of Meetings & Events Sales Executive will include:

• To complete daily operations of the M&E Sales office including telephone enquiries, driving revenue opportunities and maintaining strong relationships on property and with local sales teams
• Controlling accuracy of revenue and expenditure, ensuring billing procedures are adhered to and Opera is actualised in a timely manner
• Attending daily rev max meeting and be actively involved by giving feedback on new business, contracting and challenges
• Communicating with the hotel team regarding forthcoming business and attending weekly Operations meetings
• Completing mandatory training and actively identify further personal development requirements with the Sales Office Manager
• To comply with company policies and standards

The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in meetings and events roles which would include a strong emphasis on accuracy and quality. You must have the ability to multi-task and coordinate a series of different jobs concurrently. The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
