The Role

We have a great opportunity for a great person to come and join the team at the iconic Tower Hotel near to Tower Bridge.

Passion, style and leadership are the attributes we are looking for in our General Manager, mixed in with sound business acumen and an excellent understanding of what our customers want. Add in a location which is one of the most iconic in London and we have a recipe for success.

In April 2019, a new bar and restaurant concept at the Tower Hotel will be opening and we are looking for a General Manager to lead the business and the new team. The new operation will have 270 covers, inside and outside, in a fully refurbished space, and will be run as a standalone concept. The role of General Manager will be integral to the success of building the profile of the business within in the local community and visitors to the area.

The successful applicant will have a good understanding of global food and drink trends and be able to translate these into the operation to keep it evolving and fresh. A good grounding in financial management is a given, as well as the experience to take a lead on the sales and marketing of the concept.

What we look for

Min 10 years’ experience in hospitality industry (front line leadership role Restaurant) 

Strong Leadership and interpersonal skills

Excellent verbal and written skills 

High level of business acumen
