The Role

To be professional, courteous and service orienatted at all time

Make guests feel comfortable and enhance guest experience

To inform guests of specials and menu changes

To have detailed knowledge of the menu and be able to articulate enthusiastically

Have knowledge of the wine list and be able to pair wines by the glass with menu items

Have knowledge of all specialty cocktails; basic ingredients and taste

Be fluent with MICROS

Take order and deliver food and beverages to the guests in a timely matter

Anticipate guests needs and exceed their expectations

Maintain clean service areas

Supervise the clearing of tables and mise-en-place necessary for the next course

Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests

Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable)

Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise

Be ready and willing to assist bus person with clearing and resetting tables

Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return

Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the floor manager or immediate supervisor
