Melia White House Hotel are looking for a Head Linen Keeper to join the Housekeeping Team. We have a busy housekeeping department who are responsible for 581 bedrooms, 112 apartments, all guest areas, 9 meeting rooms, and numerous food and beverage outlets. We are looking for someone with excellent time management and organisational skills to help run this busy operation where no two days are the same!

As Head Linen Keeper you will responsible for performing various duties including;

  • Count all linen when receiving from the linen company and note all discrepancies and reject linen
  • Ensure all linen is transferred from the designated linen trolleys to the rooms‘ trolleys
  • Divide the linen to the designated floors according to the linen requests from all Housekeeping Supervisors
  • Ensure that all the maids cupboard are mopped and cleaned every day
  • Advise office co-ordinator when cleaning material need re-ordering
  • Assist in the spring cleaning program
  • Training and development of new and existing porters on Company’s Standard Operating Procedures
  • Carry out daily/monthly cleaning as directed
  • Deal with guest enquiries promptly and efficiently
  • Carry out weekly floor walks checking all porter’s area
  • Carry out on job training for staff in the department as necessary
  • To assist the Housekeeping Supervisors at any given time
