Food & Beverage Divisional Manager

A new position has become available at Innside Manchester. We are now looking for a Food & Beverage Divisional Manager to join the leadership team.

Innside Manchester is a 4*, contemporary hotel which has 208 spacious rooms and excellent facilities.

Our new Food & Beverage Divisional Manager will need to have a hands on approach, be able to use their initiative when implementing new ideas and to take ownership of their department. The main responsibility of the Food & Beverage Divisional Manager will be to oversee and manage the day to day and strategic operation of all Food & Beverage operations within the hotel. You will be responsible to meet all financial and sales strategy targets within the department, and to ensure all team members within the department are managed and developed to the agreed standards.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, main duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Oversee the C&B department including BEO’s and execution of events
  • Attend pre-shift line up in the department to monitor execution
  • Implement and follow standard operating procedures
  • Communicating and reinforce vision of the brand to all Supervisors and employees
  • Review and evaluate customer satisfaction and sequence of service and makes adjustments in operations
  • Develop risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Maintain all corporate beverage mandates
  • Perform daily walkthrough of property and report issues to hotel management
  • Liaise with Beverage Inventory Control Company to ensure accuracy of reports and acts on all variance or loss of product
  • Oversee ordering and receiving of supplies and verify the quality and accuracy of all deliveries and invoices in order to ensure correct costing and billing by vendors
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef in the development of menus for all outlets
  • Oversees pricing and rebates with vendors
  • Monitor and ensure food costs are maintained within established percentages
  • Ensures menu pricing is reflective of food costs
  • Be proactive in the recruitment processes for the Food & Beverage team
  • Monitor and develops incentive programs for employees to grow revenues in all venues
  • Evaluate supervisors and line employees performance
  • Develop the annual budget in conjunction with the General Manager and Financial Controller and achieve revenue goals by developing and managing food & beverage marketing, sales and product strategies
  • Responsible for creation of budgets and forecasts
  • Review monthly profit and loss statement and act on all variances
  • Monitor Micros reports to ensure menu items are selling
