The Job

Are you a creative wizard with a passion for social media and a keen eye for detail? As the Social Creative at TOPSHOP TOPMAN you will be a part of the Social team and report into the Global Art Director for Social. This role requires you to create original, innovative content for our social channels, and deliver a creative identity that defines and characterises the TOPSHOP TOPMAN Brands across all social
platforms. A background in creative production and graphic design would be a bonus.

You will work closely with the Digital team to understand what their hot topics are and how we can use social to engage our customers and get insight into their behaviours and preferences alongside the Design team to bring the story of collections and products to life.

Day to Day

  • Generating and developing creative ideas and fresh visual concepts to fulfil creative briefs
  • Create and produce dynamic content for TSTM’s global social channels including stills, video, motion graphics and more. (Adobe Photoshop and After Effects experience essential)
  • Driving change in reimagining look and feel of content
  • Producing mood boards to communicate and pitch ideas
  • Work closely with Production to plan Social shoots (budgets, model casting, transport, catering and permitting)
  • Visiting, assessing and proposing locations for potential shoots
  • Working closely with the wider Social team to coordinate shoots, product, styling, and story direction
  • Manage production and provide art direction support on social photo shoots
  • Partnering with Brand Marketing and Digital teams to ensure there is synergy and collaboration on 360 campaigns and delivering on fashion comms.
  • Measuring performance against agreed-upon KPIs - including engagement rate, follower growth, revenue and brand sentiment, as well as driving engagement and customer growth.
  • Assisting with image approval and manage post-production processes
  • Providing comprehensive short-listing packs for photo shoots
  • Supporting in the direction of styling across all areas to ensure consistency
  • Ensuring that TOPSHOP TOPMAN continue to be pioneers of innovation and creativity
  • Providing positive leadership and support to the team

Must Haves

  • Excellent creative flair with the ability to predict forthcoming moods, trends and themes and identify creative routes in
  • A positive and engaging person with energy that radiates through your work
  • Can-do attitude and action oriented
  • Project management skills to deliver multiple content projects, often at the same time.
  • A background in graphic design or creative production helpful
  • Previous experience of art direction and producing creative imagery and copy for social media
  • A deep understanding of the creative, digital, content and tech landscape
  • A creative, innovative approach with commercial ideas
  • Enthusiasm, energy and determination to achieve results
  • Results focused – committed to making things happen, ability to juggle initiatives and prioritise those that will have a bigger impact on the business
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, being able to quickly establish effective relationships at all levels (internal and external) with gravitas.
