The Job

As Branch Profile Manager you will be responsible for overseeing one of our owned retail channels. Working closely with Merchandising, Retail, Planning and Distribution you will be responsible for the pre-season strategy and trading of your branch profile to maximise profit and minimise markdown through your own strategic initiatives.

Day to Day

  • Work alongside Merchandising, Planning and Distribution to deliver an optimised, balanced range for the profile to meet and exceed sales and MD targets
  • Analyse profile performance and trading patterns to collate clear market intelligence with conclusions and recommendations
  • Demonstrate sales and stock opportunities across the Brand and articulate valuable exceptions within the Profile and suggest actions and opportunities
  • Be the single point of contact for the Profile and an area of expertise for Senior Management across Head Office and Retail.
  • Drive opportunities by trialling new initiatives and monitoring and recording lessons learnt
  • Schedule key communications, Skype calls and visits with branches and Area Managers to compile retail feedback and identify local opportunities that may not be visible on paper for the wider business
  • Communicate key Brand initiatives, trading feedback and Merchandising principles to Retail
  • Manage seasonal set up and new store openings/ modernisations/ closures
  • Assist the Planning Team by collating Profile Level Lessons Learnt and influencing the seasonal Profile category plan
  • Responsible for maintaining the traded store grading and influence allocation quantities
  • Liaise with the Logistics and Distribution to understand the supply chain and highlight priorities for delivery
  • Manage and develop the Branch Profile AM to exceptional industry standard and balance the workload across the team on a day to day basis

  • Strong commercial skills with an in-depth understanding of the High Street
  • Able to summarise key priorities and identify actions points
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and work under pressure
  • Confident communicator, presenter and negotiator
  • Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive
