The Job

A Flagship General Manager is one of our most prestigious roles. Their main focus is to create a “world class shopping experience” by leading and inspiring a highly engaged team. By nature they have a competitive streak always wanting their store to stand out in its market place. Our General Managers individual leadership styles gives every store its own distinct vibe, but one thing they all share is an appetite for new commercial opportunities and thinking bigger picture.

Must Haves

  • Experience of managing a turnover of £10million+.
  • Large space management experience is essential.
  • Passion for customer service, ensuring the customer remains at the forefront of everything that the team do.
  • Ability to react quickly to changing situations and delivering at pace.
  • Managing projects on a national level and driving initiatives forward.
  • Embracing the development of multi-channel advancements, knowing how to drive this forward within our business.
  • Experience of building strong relationships with all key Head Office departments to maximise sales.
  • Always looking for the “next big thing”.
  • Supporting and coaching the management team in reviewing sales floor layouts, financial data, and market trends to ensure every opportunity is maximised.
  • Playing an active part in growing the leaders of tomorrow and building robust succession plans.
  • Keen interest in personal development with the ability to take feedback on board.
  • Willingness to work late nights and early starts when required.
