The Job

As the Global Head of Brand Activation the main purpose of your role is to work closely with the Global Head of Planning & insight you will collaborate in the development and more importantly execution of both Brand marketing strategies. These plans and efforts will directly result in new opportunities to increase Brand affinity and consideration through relevant Brand cultural pillars and driven by a sound knowledge creative marketing and trends. You and your team will oversee all activation for all programming across wholly owned, franchise markets and support in the driving of plans & initiatives with key strategic partners such as Zalando, Nordstrom & Shangpin.

DAY TO DAY

  • Developing and executing agreed 360 Brand marketing campaigns, initiatives & new product campaigns/launches across multiple channels.
  • Activating marketing campaigns to specific subsets of our target customer across both Brands.
  • Generating & executing Brand partnerships.
  • Planning and executing best-in-class consumer events for product launches, community moments.
  • Working with a wide network of Global partners both traditional retail and digital in localisation of marketing plans to continue to drive trial and awareness.
  • Handling of all external agency relationships to deliver activation of Campaigns
  • Demonstrating innovative ideas which support business growth
  • Ability to manage own area of financial responsibility
  • Proactive with driving own development
  • Ensuring the customer is at the heart of every decision
  • Brings ‘the outside in’; seeks long term solutions for own area based on clear understanding of external market
  • Ability to drive results through effective team and individual performance, setting clear goals and managing accountability. Recognises and encourages outstanding performance and manages poor performance effectively.

Must Haves

  • Passion for the TOPSHOP TOPMAN Brands and strong customer knowledge.
  • Able to demonstrate experience in building consistently productive relationships.
  • The ability to remain optimistic under pressure.
  • 10+ years Brand Marketing experience is required.
  • 10+ years of experience with marketing fashion highly preferred.
  • A deep passion for - and understanding of - youth culture; music, art, film.
  • Strong knowledge and sensitivity to trends influencing marketing and communications in youth-marketing industry.
  • A commitment to understanding consumer targets to ensure world class, relevant work that connects.
  • A proven ability to build strategic partnerships, as well as the ability to create alternative approaches that increase the company’s ROI.
  • A solid track record with developing and implementing annual marketing plans, and 3 year integrated business plans.
  • The ability to lead and manage marketing budgets and spend.
  • A proven track record to effectively manage multiple projects at a time, and prioritize workload with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including ability to make persuasive presentations to senior management.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines, teams, markets.
  • Able to demonstrate management skills – both externally and internally.
