Our 5th Avenue store is the US Flagship and the largest store in the states. Housing 40,000 square feet of the latest fashion and spanning four floors of our iconic building on the world-famous fashion corridor of Fifth Avenue. The store sits adjacent to one of epicenters of New York City: Rockefeller Center. It has a team of over 200 team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience in this demanding area of the city.

The Job


• Recognized for delivering an exceptional internal and external customer experience
• ‘Connect with customers’ by demonstrating a flexible service and selling style
• Develop knowledge needed to answer any customer question, demonstrating ‘know your stuff’
• When involved in a difficult customer situation, actively seek advice from a Team Lead or Manager
• Manage time and tasks effectively, putting the needs of the customer first to ensure that tasks don’t impact on the customer experience
• Maintain professionalism through customer service to deter theft


• Utilize knowledge of state law pertaining to the Loss Prevention role to facilitate the protection of the Team, store, product and property
• Keep up to date with what’s happening in the brand and the latest trends and product
• Utilize all tools and checks to ensure the building is securely opened and closed following company policy and procedure
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of Radios, Radio codes and CCTV equipment to facilitate the safety of the team, customer store and product
• Highlight any opportunities to do things better to the Team Lead and Management Team
• Maintain all required tools and equipment utilized to prevent loss, escalating risk and opportunities to management
• Play an active part in delivering daily targets and goals for the store
• Actively support reducing shrink in your store through actioning all relevant audits and checks across the store
• Maintain housekeeping and perfect operation standards of all Loss prevention areas
• Maintain a safe environment for your team and customers by following health and Safety guidelines
• Complete all health and safety checks and audits to support compliance of local fire department regulations
• Support Management Team to increase awareness surrounding preventative loss within the store
• Understand theft trends in the local area, utilizing knowledge to monitor and reduce potential theft
• Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information pertaining to the store, internal and external customer
• Accurate reporting on all potential losses (Internal/External theft, unauthorized personnel in employee areas and damage to company property)
• Facilitate entrance and departure of: team members, visitors , packages, product and trash maintaining security of the business through out the day
• Deliver on any Duties of Responsibilities (DORs) or projects assigned by the management team
• Knowledge and adherence to all company policies and procedures


• Demonstrate the ability to work with a sense of urgency, effectively balancing multiple requests and tasks
• Work as a team player and identify when somebody in the team needs support
• Help to create a fun culture that people want to be a part of
• Effectively communicate with every team using all methods of internal communication
• Respond positively to constructive feedback always seeing it as an opportunity to grow
• Demonstrate Self-awareness and proactivity in regards to personal development and seeking opportunities to progress
• Positively promote the Loss Prevention function with the rest of the store team and be seen as an expert in Loss Prevention skills and knowledge
• Confidently train and coach team members around Health and Safety compliance, Fire Safety, Code Adam and store evacuation
• Drive team awareness of preventative loss and theft trends in local area

Must Haves

• Experience in a Loss Prevention / Security or equivalent role
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever changing climate
• Strong focus achieving success across a range of key performance indicators
• Role model exceptional internal and external customers service
• Open Availability to suit the business needs (including weekends and occasional nights)
