The Job

Key responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to support the movement of stock, ensuring that products are delivered speedily to the market as well as maximizing efficiencies and minimizing costs.

Tasks & responsibilities:

Manage the flow of stock within TOPSHOP TOPMAN, ensuring that the Brand requirements and DC forecasts are met.

Optimise speed of delivery to stores with a holistic approach to costs and benefits.

Oversee management of the UK retail delivery service including Flagship store, pre-retail services, Priority stores, wholesale partners, local and National events, maintenance of delivery frequencies, and liaison with Retail.

Support the continued growth of our Wholesale and International business including the opening of our Singapore hub next year.

Manage reverse logistics working with Branch merchandising and other internal customers to maximise the service.

Manage a team of two Logistics Managers, act as a mentor to all logistics analysts and admin assistant providing development support, coaching and training as required.

Hold weekly team, meetings with supporting analyst and line mgr.

Liaising with Retail Directors/ DC management/ Brand management

Undertaking Long-term logistics planning to support Brand future strategy

Responsible for Brand/ Business and Logistics development projects/ initiatives

Review and challenge current procedures

Project management

Undertaking promotion and external training on Logistics in general (ie: wider audience in Arcadia, Fashion Retail Academy, Merch meetings, DC visits)

Must Haves

Excellent problem-solving skills

An ability to communicate effectively at a variety of different levels

Experience of managing people and teams

A Strategic approach to task management

Previous experience as a Logistics Manager

Understanding and previous exposure to the DC pick and dispatch operation
