New York SoHo was our 1st US store, opening in 2009. It has 27,000 square feet of the latest trends from TOPSHOP & TOPMAN laid out over 4 floors. The store is home to over 200 team members on the bustling area of Broadway and Broome. Its unique British shopping experience keeps our customers coming back for more.

The Job


• Create an exceptional experience for the customer through supporting the delivery of inspirational mannequins and creative treatments and window schemes
• Inspire customers on product and trend by dressing as a ‘Fashion Role Model’
• ‘Connect with customers’ by demonstrating a flexible service and selling style
• Tailor outfit builds to represent the Brand and educate the local customer on our Brand, trends and styles, making sure they reflect all best-sellers and big deals
• Develop the knowledge needed to answer any customer question, demonstrating ‘know your stuff’
• Understand the impact that having ‘See-It, Buy-It’ has on the customer experience
• Manage time and tasks effectively, putting the needs of the customer first to ensure that Creative tasks don’t impact on the customer experience


• Keep up to date with what’s happening in the brand and the latest trends and product information with a fashion forward approach
• Highlight any opportunities to do things better to the Creative Team Lead/Creative Manager
• Play an active part in maintaining Model Store standards/Brand guidelines everyday through mannequin styling and scheme implementation
• Deliver mannequin styling and creative treatments to the highest level of Brand standards
• Maintain a safe environment for your team and customers by following health and Safety guidelines
• Partner with team lead/management team to adjust window scheme and creative treatments to suit the store package and customer profile
• Work with the team to create new and inspirational creative treatments and ideas
• Keeping focused on stock usage to reduce the amount of stockloss/shrink
• Understand the Brand’s key creative values that set TOPSHOP TOPMAN apart from the competition
• Deliver on any Duties of Responsibilities (DORs) or projects assigned by the management team
• Knowledge and adherence to all company policies and procedures


• Demonstrate the ability to work with a sense of urgency, effectively balancing multiple requests and tasks
• Work as a team player and identify when somebody in the team needs support
• Help to create a fun culture that people want to be a part of
• Effectively communicate with every team using all methods of internal communication
• Respond positively to constructive feedback always seeing it as an opportunity to grow
• Demonstrate self-awareness and be proactive with regards to personal development and seeking opportunities to progress
• When involved in a difficult team situation, actively seek advice from a Team Lead or Manager
• Positively promote the Creative function to the rest of the store team and be seen as an expert in creative skills and knowledge

Must Haves

• Visual merchandising / creative experience in a fashion retail environment
• Exceptional internal & external customers service skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever changing climate
• Strong focus on achieving success across a range of key performance indicators
• Role model exceptional internal and external customers service
• Open Availability to suit the business needs (including weekends and occasional nights)
