We are looking for a UX Designer to work across TOPSHOP TOPMAN digital platforms. As part of our User Experience team, you will collaborate closely with UI Design, Project & Product Management, Analytics and Engineering to name a few. You will be a champion of user centered design practice to inspire change at all stages of product development.

The Job

  • Great ideas do not rely on software. Sketch through concepts challenging your ideas and assumptions along the way, producing an array of research-backed solutions to any given challenge.
  • Develop high-level and/or detailed storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Great communication and handover is essential to the success of a solution. You will present flows and journeys to stakeholders including project team, senior management and IT.
  • Underpin our solutions with concise documentation and specifications.
  • Support the facilitation of co-creative problem framing and design workshops, encouraging collaboration to create best-in-class solutions.
  • Collaborate with Analytics team to lead user research plans through both quantative and qualitative research.
  • Evaluate the usability of new and existing products. Make constructive suggestions for change and optimization. Inputting into testing programs with the aim of driving incremental revenue.
  • Contribute to the experience of brand campaigns and creative projects in collaboration with design, editorial and marketing teams to deliver innovative and contemporary experiences.

Must Haves

  • User Experience or Interface Design, preferably working within fashion, retail or a creative industry (startup and agency experience welcome).
  • A degree in Design (Interaction, UX, HCI/ Usability, Product or Service Design).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills across a diversity of stakeholders are key.
  • Fluent with interface design software (Sketch, InVision, Photoshop).
  • Experience with responsive and/or adaptive design including designing usable native mobile interfaces.
  • Experience and a passion for performing primary user research.
  • Understanding of product development, user experience disciplines, and agile development methodologies.
  • Must be a proactive and able to multitask across a variety of projects and products
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferable
