The Job

A role at TOPMAN promises a fast paced, challenging and innovative working environment. As the Wholesale Product Manager you will be responsible for strategically developing and driving the TOPMAN International Product strategy for your wholesale partners by providing actionable product insight to the global buying teams. You will be the key product expert for International Wholesale partners and the key interface between the Core buying teams and our Global partners.

Key responsibilities:

Support Territory Trading manager in driving and implementing the TOPMAN International product strategy; supporting growth, diversification into new product ranges and managing market opportunities and risks.

Ability to create, build & maintain strategic International Partner relationships to achieve market sales full potential.

Ability to create, build & maintain relationships cross-functionally internally to deliver strategic goalsWorking closely with Global Buying & Merchandising teams to ensure product ranges meet the needs of the Wholesale partners (including events – Bread & Butter, Black Friday etc)

Reassuring & resolving significant issues raised by the Partner with regard to product

Ability to manage multiple accounts on a day-to-day basis, and able to flex workload with ease to ad-hoc requests and changes

Attending department product reviews, and supporting with wholesale performance insights

Attending weekly product calls with Partners

Owning the Wholesale customers’ needs by gathering insights through market travel/store visits/desktop research/lessons learnt/competitor analysis /trends

Understanding the European market, its capacity and identifying product and trend opportunities in line with strategy

Presenting and managing Partner visits and pull-outs with core teams

Coordinating the opening stock packages for all new partners that come on board

Working with Design & Buying teams to deliver the TOPMAN trends globally, at the right time

Ensuring that the relevant seasonal ‘big deals’ are delivered with key partners

Understanding what Partner requests can be for filled from existing ranges & which ones require ‘specials’

Must Haves

What experience you’ll have:

Previous experience in Buying with a creative eye

Good presenter

Self-motivated

Ability to build trust and meaningful relationships with senior stakeholders and Partners

Ability to influence at all levels with excellent communication skills

Ability to spot commercial opportunities

Knowledge of Wholesale/Europe

Ability to draw meaningful insights from data and feedback

Instinctive enthusiasm for fashion

Understanding and appreciation of Territory market trends, cultural differences, etc.

Ability to propose solutions to Partners and global teams in line with Brand strategy

Open-minded to Brand and Partner needs to deliver business results
