The Job

As a Global Head of Planning & Insight the main purpose of your role is to be the central planning arm of 360 campaigns aligning all departments using insight to strategically focus on the customer.
Work closely with the Global Head of Brand Activation to ensure these customer centric strategies are aligned across all channels and are crafted in a differentiated and innovative way, whilst ensuring they combine commercial goals.


  • Working with Buying, Merchandising, Digital, Retail and Creative teams to develop 360 briefing.
  • Network internal relationships and ensure that you are the centre point of information dissemination.
  • Manage and develop a team of insight, media planning and content messaging to ensure that all are strategically aligned and working to clear briefs
  • Develop and own key brand insight (e.g. brand tracker) and data which supports all campaign planning
  • Be an expert communicator and time manager to ensure the planning process is timely with all key stakeholders clear of status
  • Planning campaign architecture.
  • Developing creative briefs for asset delivery.
  • Developing media and messaging plan.
  • Developing campaign success metrics and analyse success in real time.
  • Measuring and evaluating all campaigns accurately.
  • Demonstrating innovative ideas which support business growth.
  • Ability to manage own area of financial responsibility.
  • Proactive with driving own development.
  • Ensuring the customer is at the heart of every decision.
  • Brings ‘the outside in’; seeks long term solutions for own area based on clear understanding of external market.
  • Ability to drive results through effective team and individual performance, setting clear goals and managing accountability. Recognises and encourages outstanding performance and manages poor performance effectively.

Must Haves

  • Passion for the TOPSHOP TOPMAN Brands and strong customer knowledge.
  • Demonstrates experience in building consistently productive relationships.
  • Ability to remain optimistic under pressure.
  • A creative outlook with the ability to achieve the full potential from projects, keeping abreast of and utilising new industry developments and technology.
  • Proven generalist marketing experience at senior management level, preferably in a fashion, media or agency environment.
  • Proven experience of integrating digital and social media in campaign activity.
