The Job

  • Planning, developing and delivering the US ecommerce strategy.
  • Working with the digital marketing and editorial teams to drive site awareness and sales performance.
  • Owning the US digital calendar (Key market promotions and events that should be highlighted)
  • Responsibility for increasing US conversion and revenue.
  • Developing a successful plan for US with brand marketing to make sure calendars are aligned and we are pushing big deals at the same time
  • Responsibility for developing and executing a promotional strategy (deals/offers/price points).
  • Responsibility for the US customer journey, user experience and navigation.
  • Identifying product opportunities & analysing shopping trends and behaviour.
  • Defining and communicating a clear vision of the future, which translates into goals and targets.
  • Reporting on sales, key metrics and promotions in daily, weekly and monthly trade meetings.
  • Using website analytics to monitor KPI’s and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Quickly analyses trading patterns with sufficient level of detail to ensure appropriate action is taken.
  • Identifies promotional / marketing opportunities for US Online and evaluates the traffic, stock and sales implications of the proposed activity.
  • Works with Senior Trading Manager and Head of Digital Trade on top level strategy.
  • Liaises with the Core Merchandising teams to potentialise US Online performance.
  • Provides accurate International seasonal, department and weekly forecasts.
  • Provides accurate DC forecasts to minimise costs.
  • Displays an in-depth, customer-focused knowledge of US online market.
  • Acts in pivotal role for teams and internal functions to co-ordinate projects and provide two-way communication.
  • Builds and maintains a strong and varied network of contacts especially (Merchandising teams and across Brand Ecommerce functions).
  • Market and Customer Focus – a good understanding of Online competition and the Online customer.
  • Develops a high performing trading assistant who are able to react to trade at pace.
  • Pre-empts the need for, and manages change, supporting the team throughout the process.
  • Proactive with driving own development.
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced, high energy environment.
  • Ability to drive results through effective team and individual performance, setting clear goals and managing accountability. Recognises and encourages outstanding performance and manages poor performance effectively.

  • Passion for the TOPSHOP TOPMAN Brands and strong customer knowledge.
  • The ability to shift focus to business priorities as needed and excited by change.
  • Experience in setting clear departmental targets and goals.
