As a strong support to the Global Head of Marketing, this role requires someone who can manage a fast paced marketing team, demonstrate excellent creative judgement combined with proven Marketing experience. This role is responsible for the delivery and execution of the marketing plan as well as managing the day-to-day running of the marketing team.

The Job

  • Developing and implementing strategic 360 integrated brand marketing initiatives for owned markets which continues to build growth & achieves key objectives /KPIs set across all activity for both brands.
  • Managing integrated marketing campaigns with key internal stakeholders – PR, Digital, Creative, VM, Retail and Buying to ensure campaign message is consistently delivered with impact to our demographic.
  • Supporting in the presentation & sign off of all plans to key senior executive team stakeholders.
  • Managing and developing the marketing team, including the 4 marketing project manager-level direct reports, and the 4 co-ordinator/assistant level indirect reports.
  • Overseeing the international partner (wholesale & franchise) marketing activity – providing input and direction for their strategy as well as approving submitted marketing plans and activations.
  • Responsible for all project budgets and provide Global Head of Marketing with a reconciliation budget following all major brand activity.
  • Setting objectives/KPIs for all activity and providing clear results measurement as well as insightful marketing analysis/PCAs.
  • The key marketing contact for the brand teams by attending the various head office meetings communicating all appropriate Marketing plans.
  • Driving interest and passion for the brands ensuring a competitive edge to all marketing and event activations.
  • Constantly on the look out for innovating and exciting new opportunities that would add value to the customer experience.

  • Passion for the TOPSHOP TOPMAN Brands and strong customer knowledge.
  • The ability to shift focus to business priorities as needed and excited by change.
  • Experience in setting clear departmental targets and goals.
  • Excellent awareness of and creative flair with the ability to predict forthcoming moods, trends, themes.
  • Strong affinity with fashion.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to achieve the full potential from projects, keeping abreast of and utilising new industry developments and technology.
  • Ability to combine an innovative approach with commerciality.
  • A self starter mindset, with the ability to work under minimal supervision and guidance.
  • Strong team player and people manager - able to gain trust, respect and confidence quickly and effectively.
  • The proven ability to negotiate and drive performance, liaising at a senior level with confidence and impact.
  • Results driven and delivery focused. Enthusiasm, energy and determination to achieve results, including those achieved through influence on related teams.
  • Proven generalist marketing experience at senior management level, preferably in a fashion, media or agency environment.
  • Proven experience of integrating digital and social media in campaign activity.
  • The ability to remain optimistic under pressure.
