We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced E-Commerce Photo Studio Manager to join our innovative TOPSHOP TOPMAN Digital team.



As the Studio Manager at TOPSHOP TOPMAN you will be responsible for the overall management of the in-house studio, being acutely aware of the commercial and creative strategy for the brand and driving productivity in line with business objectives and budgets. You will be responsible for consistently reviewing processes and procedures, managing the team to deliver online assets for over 500 products a week across the TOPSHOP and TOPMAN websites and 3rd Parties as well as leading and inspiring the team. You will be responsible for image quality meeting and exceeding brand guidelines.

The Job

  • Coordinate and manage the studio production team to plan for and deliver daily brand targets, ensuring the cover is organized where necessary.
  • Drive short term scheduling and long term strategic planning to ensure the efficient and cost-effective running of the studio
  • Ensure that the weekly and financial period costs are delivered within plan whilst meeting delivery timelines for e-commerce assets.
  • Troubleshoot daily issues which may arise and ensure targets and deadlines are met.
  • Provide leadership to inspire, engage and motivate team.
  • Innovate and keep up to date with the latest developments in technology used by commercial Fashion studios and within the market.
  • Determine and clearly communicate the vision, strategy, and objectives of the brand to the studio team.
  • Manage budgets, invoices, studio administration, and agency costs whilst ensuring the studio production team negotiate the best rates possible with suppliers.
  • Ensure that all shooting props are kept up to date, sourcing and ordering new equipment where necessary.

Must Haves

  • Previous Studio management experience within a leading fashion retailer.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness and productivity focus.
  • Independent thinker and ability to manage autonomously.
  • Proven experience of managing and leading teams of both creative and operational staff in a high volume and high quality production environment.
  • Ability to inspire through example.
  • Solid experience delivering both operational efficiency and quality of assets at known cost.
