The Job

Accountable for the sourcing and hiring of top talent for Assistant Merchandiser, Assistant Buyer and Junior Design & Tech vacancies for TSTM

Role Responsibilities:

Working closely with TSTM to identify their requirements and help to fulfil their recruitment needs as quickly as possible

Supporting with recruitment across other Arcadia Brands where required

Partnering with HR & Hiring Managers to understand their vacancies from a technical point of view and to ascertain their ideal candidate profile. Advising on recruitment processes and best practice, industry insights and when they may need to flex their expectations

Communicating with key internal stakeholders so that they are aware of all recruitment activity

Copy writing all job advertisements aligned to Group requirements ensuring they reflect the nature of the role and the working environment

Utilising internal database, advertising, cutting edge social sourcing, a variety of headhunting techniques and personal candidate networks to source top Assistant Merchandising and Assistant Buying talent

Proactively networking with passive candidates, continuously mapping competitors and top industry talent

Juggling multiple vacancies and prioritising business critical roles ensuring clear and transparent communication with candidates and Hiring Managers alike

Coordinate arrangements for all interviews as requiredMaking commercial decisions on vacancy and candidate prioritisation across the Group to benefit business objectives

Elevating the candidate experience ensuring all screening interviews (whether face to face, skype or telephone) are challenging yet invigorating and the candidate meets the business requirements

Acting as an ambassador for all Arcadia brands, making sure the right candidates go to the right brands and the candidate experience is second to none

Connecting the dots between candidates, Hiring Managers and HR for each vacancy ensuring a smooth end to end hiring process and strong working relationships

Understanding and tapping into candidate motivations ensuring offers are secured

Understanding the BMDT competitive landscape and talent pools; developing new and innovative ways of engaging and attracting this talent

Focused on hiring BMDT talent directly where possible, delivering personal KPI and recruitment targets, reducing cost per hire, agency spend and reliance

Working closely and hot-desking with each Brand gaining an intimate understanding of their requirements, challenges and opportunities

Maintaining personal reporting and metrics to share with various internal stakeholders

Partnering with and maintaining relationships with PSL recruitment agencies where necessary, managing the end to end recruitment process and ensuring they understand our brand fit and business requirements

Attend relevant industry and career events to network and develop insights and understanding into recruitment advancements

Must Haves

Solid experience and passion for recruiting BMDT talent with knowledge and intuition to identify top talent within this business segment

A finger on the pulse of the BMDT market and these candidate’s motivations and driversMulti-tasking prowess and ability to manage 20+ vacancies efficiently

Skilled in social recruiting with expert sourcing techniques across a variety of channels

A sense of urgency and pace with a proactive delivery focus

Experience thriving in fast pace, high pressured environments

Target driven yet able to balance this with offering unrivalled candidate experiences and stakeholder management and influencing skills

Polished communicator and influencer with a team player attitude

Ability to influence Hiring Managers and hiring decisions and advise recruitment best practice to deliver results

Expertise building strong relationships across multiple teams internally and externally
