As the Junior Editor at TOPMAN you will be a part of the online content team and report into the Senior Digital Editor. This role requires you to work closely with different functions across the business to manage forward planning for homepages, product stories and support editorial content as well as chairing meetings to share calendars with the wider team. This position requires excellent organizational and writing skills as well as a passion for menswear, coupled with a strong commercial instinct and an understanding of the TOPMAN customers. Excel skills essential.

DAY TO DAY

  • Management of Homepage and content Calendar across all sites alongside Senior Digital Editor, Editor and Head of Trade.
  • Chairing meetings, including the weekly homepage meeting and content planning meetings.
  • Attending key trade and business-wide meetings and reporting back to team.
  • Day-to-day content strategy and multichannel storytelling - overseeing where content lives throughout the customer journey.
  • Writing knowledgeable and engaging copy for features, emails, homepage and blog.
  • Asset content strategy and asset management.
  • Uploading blog content through a CMS.
  • Demonstrating innovative ideas that support business growth.
  • Proactive with driving own development.
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced, high-energy environment.

  • Passion for the TOPSHOP TOPMAN Brands and strong customer knowledge.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with key business areas.
  • Can demonstrate the ability to stay positive under pressure and stay focused on goals.
  • Strong organisational and writing skills.
  • Excellent eye for fashion and a strong knowledge of the marketplace both in store and online
  • Confidence to work with people across all levels of the business and liaise with external partners.
  • A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with lots of initiative and a wealth of innovative ideas.
