Multinational company leader in transportion industry
Reporting to Operations Director, the main functions of the role will be:
Lead and develop the operational process KPI’s in terms of warehouse productivity (PPH per process and overall) and in relation to warehouse specific processes (labeling, reweight, scanning,…).
Design the new necessary processes and create new standards, including the necessary changes in the core IT app (TLG). Pilot & roll out, including communication and training to all affected staff.
Optimization of existing and new processes, through time management methodology. Challenge the OPS organization in a positive way with actions such as Quality loading championship….
Coordinate and define together with HHRR the necessary action plan and corrective action to achieve the productivity targets.
Standardization of handling equipment: Implementation of roller cages (), Plastic containers (pallet size), plastic bins, bag racks,…. Definitions of instructions, containerization, identification of equipment and inventory.
Standardization of warehouse equipment: manual scanners. of NCY W&V (Mettler Toledo CSN840), forklifts and manual lifts. Coordinate with IT/general services equipment performance, inventory and maintenance. Coordinate with local management the equipment availability and potential needs.
We are seeking professionales with the following experience and skillset:
University degree type Engineering or BA valued.
Senior Project management with at least 10 years of experience in process definition, process standardization and time management.
Experience in operations within the transportation and distribution sector it's recommended.
