Standard Daxtra/PeopleBank Developer Interview
Typically, interviews for prosoective developers at Daxtra and
PeopleBank are structured as follows:
- Introduction (5-10 mins)

Quick get-to-know-you session and sanity check
- Technical Test Part 1 (30-40 mins)

The candidate will be given a written task designed to test the basic
skills of a developer (independent of platform and language).
Successful negotiation of this task is required for the interview
to proceed beyond this stage.
- Technical Test Part 2 (20-25 mins)

This consists of a handful of quick, mostly verbal tests taylored
to the candidate's previous experience and possibly also to specific
requirements of the role on offer.
- Review of CV (10-20 mins)

The interview next proceeds to a discussion of the
candidate's work history (via their CV) focusing on recent
projects or experience of particular interest to Daxtra/PeopleBank.
- Details of the Role (5-10 mins)

This part of the interview is devoted to explaining the role
in more detail for the benefit of the candidate.
- Details of the Contract (5-10 mins)

Daxtra/PeopleBank will summarise contractual matters such as working hours,
holidays, bonuses, pensions, etc.
- QA Session (5-10 mins)

A wrap-up final section focused on answering any further
questions the candidate might have and some discussion
of the next step in the application process. Typically
an offer or decline will be made via the candidate's
agent within a week of the interview.
