I was recruited by the company in August 1998 as an Assistant Manager of our new lakeside store which opened in November 1998. Initially I trained in Harlow, then went on to help build the team that eventually would be working with me in the Lakeside store.
Things couldn't have been better for me, I loved the challenge of building a successful team and seeing staff improve with the right coaching.
When the opportunity came up to be a trainer for the company I jumped at the chance and became the regional trainer in 2004. This role gave me the opportunity to pass on the skills and experience that I had gained to the new recruits coming into our business, however with the opening of the new training and support centre I was promoted to regional recruitment co-ordinator in the recruitment department where I am today and thoroughly enjoy it. |
