Employee Shuttle Bus

You are more than welcome to catch our employee shuttle bus for free. Further details of this will be provided at the interview stage. Just make sure that you arrive early enough for your interview and plan your return.

By Train

There is a regular service from London Waterloo and London Victoria to Leatherhead (37 minutes). There are also services from Horsham (30 minutes), Guildford (25 minutes) and Dorking (7 minutes) to Leatherhead.

Leatherhead is an 8-minute taxi ride to Beaverbrook. There is a permanent taxi rank at the station.

By Foot

From Leatherhead (50 minutes)

Walk north-west on Leret Way and turn left onto Bull Hill. Take a light left onto North Street and then turn left at Bridge Street.

Turn right onto Church St and then left onto The Crescent followed by a right turn onto Highlands Rd.

After about a mile and a quarter the Beaverbrook entrance gates will be on your right.

By Bus

From Leatherhead (40 minutes)

Walk north-west on Leret Way and turn left onto Bull Hill. Take a light left onto North Street and then turn left at Bridge Street. Turn right onto Church St and then left onto The Crescent. On the right you will see The Crescent bus stop Y.

Take bus 21 for 4 stops to Glenheadon Rise.

When you get off the bus, cross the carriage way to the footpath on the opposite side and continue along Reigate Road, crossing one round about.

After about a mile and a quarter the Beaverbrook entrance gates will be on your right.

All employees must be eligible to work in the UK. If you are invited to an interview you will be asked to bring the appropriate ID in order for us to check and verify.

For some roles, we do offer employee accommodation.

Our rented accommodation is located 5 miles off site in an area called Epsom.

The average rent we charge is dependant on the size of the room and availability is between £85 - £125 rent plus £10 bills per week. The bills do include Council Tax, WIFI, Electricity and Water.

If you have been shortlisted you will be invited to an interview or assessment centre, depending on the position. During the interview process all candidates are asked to complete a short aptitude test.

We assess all the applications again, alongside everyone's performance in the interviews, and then will contact you with the outcome within the next 7-10 working days and inform you whether you have been successful or not.

As soon as you are aware that you will be unable to attend an interview please e-mail recruitment@beaverbrook.co.uk and we can look to re-schedule your appointment.

In line with our commitment to safety, all employees will be subject to random and with cause drug and alcohol tests.

You should dress in an appropriate manner for the role you're applying for. If in any doubt, smarter is better. This is an interview after all, and you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Working hours will vary depending on the role and department, however, full time roles will include working five out of seven days on a shift bases over weekends, including evenings.

We provide a free employee shuttle bus service from Leatherhead Training station, which you are more than welcome to use. All other travel expenses or associcated costs will not be reimbursed.

1. The kind of information we hold about you

In connection with your application for work with Beaverbrook (“we”, “us”), we will collect, store, and use any information you have provided to us in your CV, application form, during an interview or testing, or any information provided by references and the Disclosure and Barring Service.

2. How we will use information about you

We will use the personal information we collect about you to:

  • assess your suitability for the role, decide whether to invite you to an interview, offer you a role;
  • carry out background and reference checks, where applicable;
  • communicate with you about the recruitment process;
  • keep records related to our hiring processes;
  • comply with legal or regulatory requirements.

We will treat your personal data as being confidential and will comply with all applicable data protection legislation in respect of it.

3. If you fail to provide personal information

If you fail to provide information when requested, which is necessary for us to consider your application, we will not be able to process your application successfully.

4. Data sharing

We will only share your personal information with third party companies for the purpose of supporting us with your application; specialised H&S consultant partnered with

Beaverbrook and a company specialising in psychometric ability and personality assessments.

Our online application tracking system is provided by Peoplebank.

5. Data retention

We will retain your personal information for a period of 6 months after we have communicated to you our decision about whether to appoint you for the role in order to support administration of any appeals or enquiries relating to your application.

6. Your rights in connection with personal information

Under certain circumstances, by law you have the right to:

  • request access to your personal information;
  • request correction of the personal information that we hold about you;
  • request erasure of your personal information;
  • object to processing of your personal information where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground;
  • request the restriction of processing of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of personal information about you, for example if you want us to establish its accuracy or the reason for processing it;
  • request the transfer of your personal information to another party;
